Day 2 - Wednesday, May 30, 2029
Materials, Transport & Emerging Devices
The second conference day will begin with a keynote lecture by an invited speaker. The lecture will address current developments and challenges related to the scientific focus of IWCN 2029, including topics such as materials, transport phenomena, and emerging device concepts. The speaker, title, and abstract will be announced with the detailed program.
Participants are invited to take a short break for coffee, refreshments, and informal exchange. The break also provides an opportunity to continue discussions from the keynote lecture and connect with other attendees.
The morning scientific session will include invited and contributed presentations within the scope of IWCN 2029. Contributions may address computational approaches to nanoscale materials, transport, devices, or related methods. Detailed session topics, speakers, and presentation titles will be announced once the final program has been confirmed.
Lunch will be combined with the first poster session of IWCN 2029. Participants will have the opportunity to view posters, discuss research results directly with presenters, and exchange ideas in an informal setting.
Poster sessions are an important part of the workshop and provide a platform for detailed scientific discussion, especially for students and early-career researchers. Further information on poster numbers, presentation times, and poster locations will be provided with the final program.
The afternoon program will continue with another scientific session featuring invited and contributed talks. The session will focus on selected topics from the IWCN 2029 scientific program. Specific themes, speakers, and titles will be published after the review process and program planning have been completed.
A coffee break will provide time for refreshments, networking, and informal discussions between sessions. Participants are encouraged to use the break to continue scientific exchange with speakers, poster presenters, and other attendees.
The final scientific session of the day will continue the discussion of current research in computational nanotechnology. The session may include presentations on modelling, simulation, transport, materials, nanoelectronic devices, or emerging computational methods. Detailed information will be announced with the final conference program.
All participants are invited to join the official IWCN 2029 conference photo. The photo will document the workshop community and serve as a shared memory of the event. The exact location will be announced on site.
The evening is free for participants to explore Dortmund, meet colleagues informally, or arrange individual dinners. No official conference event is currently scheduled for this evening.
Note
The program for Day 2 includes invited and contributed talks. Detailed session topics, speakers, presentation titles, poster assignments, and room information will be announced once the final program has been confirmed.
