Participants are invited to arrive at the conference venue, collect their conference materials, and enjoy a welcome coffee before the official start of IWCN 2029. This time also provides an opportunity to meet other participants, reconnect with colleagues, and get familiar with the venue.

The workshop will officially begin with opening remarks by the organizing committee. The welcome address will introduce IWCN 2029, provide practical information for participants, and outline the scientific and social program of the workshop.

The Opening Keynote will set the scientific tone for IWCN 2029. An invited speaker will present current developments, challenges, and perspectives in computational nanotechnology. The keynote speaker and title will be announced with the detailed program.

A short break for coffee, refreshments, and informal exchange. Participants can use this time to continue discussions from the opening session and connect with other attendees.

The first scientific session will include invited and contributed presentations related to the scope of IWCN 2029. Specific session topics, speakers, and presentation titles will be announced once the final program has been confirmed.

Participants will have time for lunch and informal networking. Further details regarding lunch arrangements and location will be provided closer to the conference.

The afternoon scientific session will continue with presentations from the IWCN 2029 program. Contributions may include oral presentations by invited speakers, researchers, and early-career scientists. Detailed session information will be published later.

A second coffee break will provide time for refreshments and informal discussions between sessions. Participants are encouraged to use the break for networking and scientific exchange.

This session will focus on early-career researchers and students. It may include short presentations, networking elements, or information relevant to young scientists participating in IWCN 2029. The final format will be announced with the detailed program.

An exclusive guided tour of Signal Iduna Park will take place on Sunday, June 3, 2029. The stadium is one of Dortmund’s most recognizable landmarks and an important symbol of the Ruhr region’s cultural identity.

As the home of Borussia Dortmund, Signal Iduna Park is internationally known for its distinctive atmosphere and its famous “Yellow Wall”. With more than 81,000 seats, it is one of the largest soccer stadiums in Europe.

The guided tour will offer participants a special look behind the scenes of the stadium. The program is expected to include access to selected seating areas, the locker rooms, and the players’ tunnel.

The guided tour will be followed by the official IWCN 2029 Welcome Reception, held directly at Signal Iduna Park.

The unique atmosphere of the stadium provides an ideal setting to meet other participants, establish new connections, and begin the conference together in an informal environment.
